How to Create Role-Based Interface/Layouts
  • Wavity platform supports the easy creation of role-based interfaces based on groups added into the platform. Only the admin of your organization has the authority to create new role-based interfaces/layouts.
  • You can create your own interface with quick links, analytics, reports, and table widgets from scratch. Click the ‘9 dots’ image to view all existing role-based interfaces in your tenant.
  • Then, click on “More from Wavity” below the 9 dots to create new interfaces.
  • The Wavity Warehouse will be displayed with all the solutions in your tenant. A green tick will indicate whether an interface/dashboard is currently active.
  • To create a new solution with role based layouts, click on “Create Solution.”
  • On the following page, enter the solution name, which indicates the dashboard name. You can also add a description if needed. Select and add groups, which will determine a role-based dashboard for a specific group of users.

  • Click on “Save” button to create a new interface or layout.
  • There is also a provision for editing the names and groups of existing dashboards. Click on the ‘3 dots’ and select the Edit option to update the dashboard name and associated groups.
  • Existing layouts can be customized further. Click on the “Personalize Layout” icon to drag, drop, or resize widgets. Use the “Manage Widgets” option to create new widgets or update existing ones.
